Our aerial tour concludes with the Gehrig T. Johnson Athletic Complex. Adjacent to Presque Isle Middle School, it occupies approximately 27 acres on Skyway Street in Presque Isle. The complex hosts numerous athletic events for MSAD#1 and other Aroostook County teams at the high school and middle school levels, as well as annual Special Olympics events. It includes a seven lane, 400 meter all-weather track and a lighted soccer field, along with a baseball diamond, a softball diamond, and three additional soccer fields. The facility was created in 1992, and is dedicated to all MSAD#1 athletes - past, present, and future.
