Skyway Middle School, located at 569 Skyway Street in Presque Isle, was built in 1963. It was renamed Presque Isle Middle School in August 2005, following 5.3 million dollar construction project which allowed the district to house all middle school students in one state-of-the-art facility. Approximately 475 students in grades 6-8 are currently enrolled. A new aerial photo of the facility will be available in the near future.
