Zippel Elementary School is located on the corner of Griffin and Lombard Streets in Presque Isle, in close proximity to the high school. The 49,600 square foot building is a combination of a single-story and a two-story structure. Zippel was built in 1959 and was named in honor Eva Hoyt Zippel, a Presque Isle Educator of many years. Currently, the school has an enrollment of about 330 students in grades 3-5.
