March 2010

Dear Parents/Guardians of MSAD#1 Students,

MSAD#1 has completed both the seasonal and H1N1 flu shot clinics for our students.

Remember to follow these routine measures to stay healthy:

  • Cover your cough and use respiratory etiquette.
  • Practice good hand hygiene
  • Stay home when you are sick
  • Eat healthy foods
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Get enough sleep
  • Remember to exercise and get fresh air as you are able

It is not too late for you or your children to receive the H1N1 vaccine if you have not already done so. Experts believe that it is possible that another wave of the H1N1 flu could circulate this spring. Please speak to your private health care provider or doctor about getting vaccinated against the H1N1 flu if you or your children have not yet received this vaccine and now would like to do so. The H1N1 vaccine is now readily available through your doctor’s office.

Please call MSAD#1 Health Services Office with any questions: 764-8105.

Sincerely,

Deb Raymond, RN BSN
Health Services Director
