Pre-K students have taken part in several special activities this year. Firefighters from the Mapleton Volunteer Fire Department talked with students about fire safety and gave them a tour of the inside of their fire truck. |

The children went on a field trip to Putnam's Farm. The hour-long trip consisted of a horse-drawn wagon ride to the pumpkin field, where the children searched for the perfect pumpkin to bring home. |
