painting fun Finger painting is a creative activity that helps fine motor skills develop, besides being lots of fun!
Brightly colored markers and other supplies in the art area make drawing and writing fun. (Note the specially anchored markers that make putting the caps back on an easy task for little hands.) drawing

Fitting pieces together, balancing, and creating ramps are fun ways to explore some basic principles of science.

reading books Reading is one of the most enjoyed activities in Pre-K.  Children have many opportunities to read alone and to listen to stories read by teachers, parent volunteers, and 4th grade reading buddies.
Need a check-up?  In the pretend area, you can be a doctor, cowboy, police officer, mail carrier, chef, fireman or just dress up in fancy clothes! playing doctor
