MacCready, Robin Merrow.  Buried.  Fic M137b

Claudine’s mother was always something of a free spirit.  Unfortunately, she was also a drunk with a tendency to go off on binges.  When she stopped drinking, she was a loving, creative artistic mother whom Claudine supported and enabled, but mom always fell back to her old ways with a resounding crash.  Somehow, though, when mom disappeared this time, it didn’t have the same feel.  What is the new stain on the rug that won’t come out, and what memories has Claudine buried?
