Maine School Administrative District #1

Members of the MSAD #1 community are invited to attend an informational meeting at Presque Isle Middle School tonight at 7:00pm where the school consolidation plan will be discussed.

REMINDER: There is no school for students on Friday, January 16th due to it being a scheduled Professional Development day for faculty and staff. There is also no school on Monday, January 19th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

All MSAD #1 schools will be released on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 11:30AM for the Holiday Break. School will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026. Happy Holidays!

ALL MSAD #1 Schools will have a 2-Hour Delay,. There will be no morning Pre-K or Kindergarten sessions.

Presque Isle High School is opening its doors and invites you to view Deck the Halls, a traditional Winter Carnival event where each class decorates their hallway according to a self-selected theme. Join us (via the front Lobby entrance) on Friday, December 12th from 6-7pm. This year the students have chosen the following themes: Star Wars (12th), Once Upon A Time (11th), Christmas in the City (10th), Seasons( 9th). You will have the opportunity to vote for your favorite hall, too! (one vote per person).

REMINDER: The Remote Learning Snow Day Meal form is on the MSAD #1 district website homepage: www.sad1.org. Please complete the form if you wish for your student(s) to receive a bagged breakfast and lunch on the day prior to an announced Remote Learning Snow Day.
